I gifted money to my Son & Niece can I deduct on taxes?

Gifts given to individuals is not reported on a tax return, nor are gifts received reported on a tax return, regardless of the amount received.

If the gift given is over $19,000 to a single individual, you are required to report the gift given to the IRS using Form 709.
