I entered a $661 loss on Sale of Stock which i inherited and it did not change my Federal refund at all. Why? 12:35 PM

It did change my State refund but only by $17.

It is possible that your taxable income was already so low, that it had little or no impact. You can look at your Schedule D to see how it was taxed. If you are in the Online version, you will have to pay before you have access to all forms.

Taxable income was over 80K.
