I downloaded my stock options and Turbo tax recorded the type of investment as stock instead of option. Do i need to correct each one?

stock options themselves are not income to be reported on a tax return.  They are 'options' to purcahse the stock, normally based on a date to occur.

but once that date passess, they are stock that you own and no longer stock options.

so do you own Stock Options or the Stock?  what is being imported? the Stock (probably) or the Stock Options (probably not)
