Royalty income, weather reported on a 1099-MISC box 2 or not, is still reported on SCH E. When working through the SCH E section, "rental property" is selected by default. Make sure you change it to "Royalty income".

For the "Is your dwelling subject to property tax?" question; Do I Put yes or no. I pay rent to landlord: how do I know if it's subject to property tax?
