Rent you paid? Or rent you received? For what? A residential rental property you own? A commercial rental property? A room you rented out in your house? A vehicle? Some other equipment you rented out? Short term rental you advertised on AirB&B? Long term rental?

If you own the home, then of all people you should know if it's a single family home, or something else such as a duplex unit or multi-unit building designed with the intent of housing more than one family. I have no way of knowing what your house is designed and intended for.

But if I were to guess based on no facts, I would expect you are renting a room in a house that was designed and build with the intention of housing one single family.
