How to make installment sale capital gain flow to schedule D

I have self created goodwill sold in an installment sale. I've filled out form 6252, and for line 16, the installment sale gain should be reported on "schedule d or form 4797". Instructions for 6252 seem to suggest it should only flow to Schedule D (line 11) because it is a capital asset, not 1231 asset. However it is also flowing to form 4797 line 4 (section 1231 gain from installment sales). How do i stop it from flowing here too?

You should contact Support (link below) during regular business hours for this transaction.

I am not certain whether you can enter this transaction in Step-by-Step Mode or whether you would have to enter the transaction in Forms Mode, possibly with overrides.
