How to enter a 1099-misc royalties income from rental property (Oil/Gas). I get "Days rented should not have any entry since this is a royalty property". I am stuck.

Another error is "Income from rental real estate and income from royalties must be reported as separate properties on Schedule E". All related to the royalties income on the 1099-MISC

Back up and delete the Rental Sch E you accidentally started and then start again but this time choose royalty and skip the 1099 entry screens and only enter the income in the Royalty section.
