How do I report real property rental income earned by my LLC? Schedule C or schedule E

My LLC "owns" my rental properties (property is titled in my LLC name). The income is reported on a 1099 with my LLC's EIN not my social security number.

How should the LLC's income/expenses be entered in TurboTax?

If your LLC is a multi-member LLC, then you will have to file a separate business return for your LLC. By default, it will be Form 1065 - partnership. If, however, if you have a single member LLC, then it is treated as disregarded and therefore, all rental information will be reported on your Schedule E as if LLC doesn't exist (is disregarded, that is).

Please view the instructions below to enter your rental income and expenses. There are links at the end of the article that may be helpful.
