How do I report assets (i.e. oven) in rental unit when I sold entire rental? Specifically, I'm asking about the "Sales Price" "Sales Expenses" page. Is it 0 for both?

The appliances are part of the rental and I had been reporting the depreciation for past few years.  Since the oven was sold as part of the rental unit, it got the same sale date.  What do I put in for the page that says "Enter Asset Sale Information" for the oven?  Is it $0 for both "Sales Price" and "Sales Expenses" or should I leave it blank?

Yes, enter zero. It was part of the entire rental sale and was not sold separately.

If you took depreciation on the separate assets and they were included in the sale, if you enter zero for a sales price, take note the 4797 will show a loss on those assets and the depreciation will not be recaptured as required, if you sold the property at a gain. That's a problem.
