Did you add your baby under My Info? Be sure when it asks how long your child lived with you that you pick THE WHOLE YEAR and not just the number of months. Go back and double check that.
Then it will give you the extra Stimulus amount. The first Stimulus Check is really based on your 2020 return we are filing in 2021. So any amount you already got will be reconciled on your 2020 return line 30. If you didn't get a Stimulus Check (and qualify) or you qualify for more it will be added to your 2020 return. But the good news is if they paid you too much they won't take it back.
I think the second one will be on your tax return also. They are still working on updating the program for it.
When you go through the federal review tab it will ask how much you got if any. Or to enter your stimulus payment in TurboTax, type "stimulus" (without the quotes) in the Search box, then click the link that says "Jump to stimulus."
The IRS has not yet finalized the Recovery Rebate Credit worksheet for the 2nd stimulus. TurboTax cannot include the 2nd stimulus question on the Recovery Rebate Credit page until the IRS finalized the Form 1040.
The IRS Form 1040 is currently estimated to be available on 01/07/2021 (subject to change)

thank you so much !! i have all the correct info put in, i haven't been able to file my taxes yet due to the forms not being available until 1/7/21 but that's only a couple days away ! i wasn't sure if it'd come back on my taxes or if i had to go more in depth for it, but you answered my question perfectly, so thank you 🙂
i was wondering why i couldn't file my taxes until 1/7/21 ! that makes sense now though, so i appreciate that extra knowledge !!

There are many changes to the tax laws in the appropriations bill that was just signed last week. There is no guarantee of when you will be able to file, it depends on when the IRS updates their forms and how long after that it takes Turbotax to be updated.
While Turbotax may allow e-filing as early as January 7, the IRS will not open e-filing until at least January 27, so early returns will just go into cold storage. Don't be in a hurry, especially this year.
