How do I enter a capital gain dividend?

Do you mean a capital gain distribution, in box 2a of a Form 1099-DIV? On the screen where you enter the 1099-DIV, just enter the capital gain distribution in box 2a. See the following FAQ for instructions to enter a Form 1099-DIV.

Where do I enter my 1099-DIV in TurboTax Online?

For my Maryland Return. My husband works in MD however resides in PA. I am trying to figure out what numbers to put in for the non-maryland income allocation section.
