How do I determine Land Value for the purposes of rental home depreciation? My county tax assessment does not break land value out.

For fair market land value, I would make some phone calls to realtors or real estate appraisers. Find out the comps in the area for raw land on a per acre basis and multiple it by the acreage for the lot where the home was built.
