How do I delete an income category in 2017. I accidentally reported income as Rentals and Royalties but it should be Farm Income. I can't find the "Tools" option.

The "Tools" option is on the bottom-left of your screen. See screenshot below. Directions for deleting the form are in the FAQ below:
