If you have a Capital Loss Carryover from 2019 that wasn't carried through 2020 and 2021 you should amend both of those tax returns before making the adjustment for 2022.

If you've done 2020 & 2021, but simply want to include the carryover on your 2022 tax return:

You can post your Capital Loss carryover:

  1. Start at Federal
  2. Wages & Income
  3. Scroll down to Investment Income.
  4. Select Capital Loss Carryover from the drop-down menu.
