How can I edit my capital gains and losses after the review

I expect that you want to edit your stock or Mutual Fund data.  This can be found in the INCOME area of your return.

  1. Scroll down to Investment Income
  2. Select Stocks, Mutual Funds, Bonds ....
  3. YES you did sell investments
  4. I expect but not sure you got a 1099-B
  5. At the bottom of page I'll type it myself
  6. Select your broker
  7. I'll enter one sale at a time
  8. This will give you the source data to correct gains and losses.

You should not change the original data from the 1099-B.  The IRS uses this as a benchmark to compare your return.  However, at the bottom of the page you can select I'll enter additional information myself.
