I'm trying to file a 1099-NEC with the IRS. I did so through TurboTax and it currently reads 'E-File Processing' but on other websites (https://www.bench.co/blog/tax-tips/1099-reporting-requirements) it suggests that the 1099 NEC needs be filed through the IRS FIRE system. Is it possible to file via TurboTax or do I have to go through the FIRE portal? Thanks!

To clarify / add context -- I'm the payer of the 1099 NEC in this context. Thanks!
See this TurboTax help article:
How do I create W-2 and 1099 forms for my employees or contractors? (intuit.com)
If you e-filed through TurboTax, you do not have to worry. Your forms 1099-NEC have been correctly e-filed.
The IRS FIRE system is only one way of e-filing. TurboTax is another method.
