I purchased TurboTax Premier at Costco which includes Federal and 1 State download. I own rental property in CA and live in AZ. I need to complete Federal, CA Non Resident and AZ Resident. As I understand I need to complete CA Non Resident first so I get credit for CA taxes paid on the AZ form. Since I get the Federal and 1 State download included in the purchase - do I download and complete CA first; then go back and download and purchase AZ? I want to ensure that I get CA Non Resident done first before Turbo Tax auto populates AZ. Thanks!

Yes, you are correct that you need to complete your non-resident state return before you begin the state in which you live. When you finish the non-resident state (California), find the Add a State link on the first page of the State section. Click that link and TurboTax will help you download, install, and pay for your resident state (Arizona).
