Claiming Foreign rental property and income tax credit

I own a foreign rental property. In the foreign country I pay both property and income taxes. I understand I need to report the income in US and that I can claim the foreign income taxes credit. What about the foreign property taxes? Can I claim a credit for those ad well? Thanks

Taxes based on assets, such as property taxes, do not qualify for the credit. Only the foreign income taxes qualify for the credit.
