No.  You will need Online Premier to enter a Capital Loss Carryover.  If you buy the Desktop program any version has it so you can use Deluxe.  All the Desktop programs have the same forms.

just to confirm I can use Deluxe with the disk(desk top version) to enter a carry loss forward and self employed or do I have to use Premier?

Yes.  All the Desktop programs have the same forms. You just get more help and guidance in the higher versions. .

Yes, you can use the TurboTax desktop Deluxe edition for capital loss carry forward and to report self employment income and expenses.

All the desktop editions have the same forms, schedules and worksheets.  You receive more help and guidance as you move to the higher priced desktop editions.

You may get a recommendation to upgrade to the Premier or Home & Business edition, but those recommendations only and are not required.
