Can i stop depreciating a rental property?

I have been depreciating my rental property but I don't need to because this particular rental property is at a loss already and I'm unable to take the loss I already have.  I don't want to depreciate the property anymore so I don't have to consider that amount when we sell the property.

You should continue to depreciate the property.

When it is sold, the depreciation amount will be taken into account whether or not you actually claimed the depreciation.
