Can I expense the travel to my rental property to do an inspection of the property and if so how many times a year?

If the primary purpose of your trip was related to the rental property then yes and you can do it as many times as you went there. If you went let's say to Florida 3x and spent 3 weeks but, 1 day obseerving your rental, then no, you should then only take the days expenses, possibly some food.
