Forms 1099 can be imported from a financial institution or brokerage house if they are TurboTax partners.  All the TurboTax desktop CD/Download editions support import of forms 1099.

Note - Most forms 1099 will not be available for import until late January or early February from TurboTax partners.

If you are asking about the Online Deluxe version then it depends.  You can download interest and dividends to Deluxe but if you have any sales or 1099B you will need to use online Premier.
