Can I deduct the cost of turbotax under a rental property?

You can deduct the cost of TurboTax for 2016 taxes that was paid in 2017 in Deductions and Credits.

1. Go to Federal.

2. Select Deductions and Credits.

3. Choose Other Deductions and Credits.

4. Select Tax Preparation Fees.

Next year, 2019, you can deduct the Turbo Tax fees paid in 2018.
