Can I deduct rent?

My permanent residence is in Indiana. I work in Cincinnati Oh, and rent a small apartment in Northern Kentucky for work during the week and return home on the weekends. Can I deduct any of the rent expense from my taxes?

No. Personal living expenses are not deductible. Expenses of commuting to and from work are not deductible, no matter what the distance is.
