Can I deduct construction supplies for a property that I rent (nails, drywall, paint, paint supplies, etc)? If so - is it a supply, or a startup cost?

If the property you rent is used for business, these construction supplies can be deducted as a business expense under Repairs and Maintenance.

If the property you rent is used for business, these construction supplies can be deducted as a business expense under Repairs and Maintenance.
