Can I add investment sale to income after I thought i was finished

I need to amend an investment sale

I haven’t filed yet. I want to add proceeds from broker and barter exchange transactions. I can’t find where to enter this info.

Yes, you can add broker and barter exchange transactions if you have not filed yet.

1. Open (or continue) your return if it isn't already open
2. Select the magnifying glass, search for 1099-B and then select the Jump to link in the search results
3. Answer Yes to Did you sell stocks, mutual funds, bonds, or other investments in 2021?
   • If you see Your investment sales summary, select Add More Sales
4. On the OK, let's start with one investment type screen, select the category that applies to your situation and Continue
5. Answer Yes to Did you get a 1099-B or brokerage statement for these sales?
6. At Let's get your tax info, choose how you want to enter your 1099-B (import or type it in yourself)
7. Answer the questions about your 1099-B

When I click the jump to link for 1099-B, I don’t see the question “ Did you sell stocks …” so I can’t add more sales.

I entered my initial 1099-B info manually, since there was no selection for Pershing LLC.

I clicked on investments at the bottom and got to the right path from there. Thanks

With your federal return open:

1. Click on Edit/Add next to Investments and Savings under Income & Expenses section, OR go to Show more next to Investments and Savings
2. Click on Start or Revisit next to Stocks, Cryptocurrency, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other (1099-B)
3. On the next screen, you should be able to see the 1099-B you already entered. 
4. Add more sales by editing the existing 1099-B.
