Adding new rental - main house

I have a property in NY with two buildings, the main house and an apartment above the detached garage.  The apartment does have a separate mailing address for 911 purposes but is on the same property.  I have been renting the apartment since I purchased the property and lived in the main house.  Now I am renting the main house as well.  Do I add the main house rental as a new separate rental on taxes or just update the existing rental to include all income and expenses together for both rentals?

Adding new rental - main house

The main house will be added as a new separate rental on your tax return. You have been depreciating the apartment since it first became a rental. The main house will be on a different depreciation time frame and will need to be added separately to the Schedule E return.
