2024 Turbo Tax won't let me move forward without password protecting my file!

I logged into my Turbo tax account with two factor authentication. Had it update my 2024 tax form with information on my iMac from 2023. To quit, it gives me an 'option' to either save the form without password protection or create an encrypted password and security question for the form. I do not want password protection. I checked that box, but there is no way to save the form then, and no way to get out of the software, I have tried closing it, shutting down my iMac, and it all hinges on Turbo Tax wanting a password encrypted file !

What if I don't want this?? They are giving the choice, but no way to save the option or escape their website. I can't even close my iMac.! Well I can unplug it, but this is ridiculous! I don't want to password protect the file on my computer.
