1099-B Worksheet import

When I imported data from my financial institution most all of the data was received correctly.  The problem that I found was the 1099-B data was not ready yet and was not imported.  A week later I checked with the institution and found that the 1099-b was ready to download.  I then again imported from that institution.  Now I have two 1099-b worksheets, one with the correct information and one that is blank.  All of the other imported data looks correct.  How can I fix this?

You will have to clear out all of the original data.  It may be easier to clear all of the transactions an import the whole thing again.

You will want to delete Form 1099-B Wks for that broker. (there may be 2)

 To Delete a form:

  1. On the menu bar on the left that shows.
    1. My Info
    2. Federal
    3. State
    4. Review
    5. File
  2. Select Tax Tools
  3. On the drop down select Tools
  4. On the Pop-Up menu select Delete a Form
  5. This will give you all of the forms in your return
  6. Scroll down to the form you want to delete
  7. Select the Form
  8. Click on Delete.

Always use extreme caution when deleting from your tax return.  There could be unintended consequences.
