1065 Schedule K line 17a, TT Business

why cant I overwrite the AMT entry on the form?  Or where do I enter the proper AMT number?

(i had my taxes professionally done last year and I am trying to get TT Business to match what the CPA filed)

You can override that figure directly on the form by right-clicking in the box and selecting "override" from the dropdown. Note that you most likely will not be able to e-file.

However, you might want to check with your CPA to try and determine why the figures do not align.

Thank you, will ck with CPA and see why they entered that number - could it have been pulled from the 2017 return for some reason?
