1031 can be cancelled?

Hello,

I sold my property in Aug 2021 and filed form 1031 for exchange. Can I change my mind to just ignore/cancel the 1031, instead I will report as sold and pay for the necessary tax in my 2021 tax return?

Yes, but you received the proceeds for the relinquished property but never received the replacement property?
