When I entered text of the first line, it disappeared when I pressed <R+TAB> or Enter.  Vary frustrating.  No error message. Tried to get help from Intuit    Person help[ didn't know . Tried to get me to an expert and got disconnected. Long wait time so I am posting it here.

Hello! Are you using TurboTax Desktop or Online? I'd like to get more information if you're willing. Reply below and I'll be happy to research this. Thanks!

I am using Premier Desktop. In form 5329-T I enter amount in Other qualified Plans. It was a Bene-IRA.

Thanks for the screenshot. Can you send me a sanitized file so I can take a closer look? The number will be removed for your safety in your reply but I'll be able to retrieve it. Here's how you can generate the token:

    TurboTax Desktop

    1. Open your return.
    2. Click “Online” and select "Send Tax File to Agent".
    3. This will generate a message that a diagnostic copy will be created.
    4. When the token is generated, be prepared to type in your notes or in a message (unable to copy and paste)
    5. Click “OK”. The tax file will then be sanitized and sent to us. This action will generate a Token Number
    6. Please respond directly to this message and provide the Token Number that was generated.

Did this ever get resolved? I am experiencing the exact same issue with TX desktop deluxe version.  I've tried every trick I know and does not keep the explanation as best I can tell.

Not yet.  Yesterday (2/16/26), I contacted Intuit again. We shared screens and tried to get it to work for about 1 hr.   No luck, they filed a support request and was told they would contact me when they have a fix.
