To access your current or prior year tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the userID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show.  Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)

See this TurboTax support FAQ for accessing prior year online tax returns - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/prior-year-return/help/how-do-i-access-my-prior-year-return/01/270...

If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created.  TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.

Or go to this IRS website for free federal tax return transcripts - https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript

For a fee of $50 you can get a complete federal tax return from the IRS by completing Form 4506 - http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f4506.pdf

Download 2017 tax return

Received a note from Minnesota Department of revenue that my 2017 Tax Return was Missing. I downloaded the return (somehow) from turbo tax and it said $1996.00 in taxes had been paid from account [phone number removed]0, routing transit number [social security number removed] on 04/17/2018. I am about to send them my tax reports, but is there any way we can check that they really received them. Thanks dctrumble.

Oh, my!  This is a public Internet forum.  Luckily it looks like the forum privacy filter has removed that personal info you posted above (at least from what displays to me.)  For your privacy and security, please do NOT post personal info in this public forum.   You can edit your comment if you wish to do so.  To do that, click the tiny blue 3-dot icon just to the right of your comment and in the dropdown menu choose EDIT.

When you log into your Online TurboTax account, scroll down to the section "Your Tax Returns & Documents."  Expand that section and choose tax year 2017.   What is showing for the status of your 2017 state return; which of these terms--accepted, rejected, printed, started, ready to mail, or what?

Was the tax payment actually deducted from your bank account when you look at your bank statement back then?

Go back and check your bank records.  Was the tax due actually paid out of your bank?  Did you mail them a check or did they automatically debit your Account?  If they pulled it out of your account then they had to process the actual return.  That should be enough proof they got it or how else could they take the payment?

When you log into your account you should also see the status and if it was Accepted or Rejected, Started, Printed, Ready to Mail, etc.  what does it say?

And check your emails.  When you efile you get back 2 emails.  The first email only confirms the transmission.  The second email says if the IRS (or state) Accepted or Rejected your efile.
