Can Turbo Tax add prior year's bank account to 2018 return?
Can turbo tax add my 2017 bank account info to my 2018 tax return? It was not included on return because $0 owed/$0 refunded. Or is it possible for me to add the account by amending 2018 return myself? I don't want to file 2019 taxes yet, because I will receive the $500 dependent allowance if using 2018 taxes.

Ok, thank you for your info regarding an amended return!
Note: I'm not given the option of adding my bank account info since I keep getting error message:
"Payment Status Not Available
According to information that we have on file, we cannot determine your eligibility for a payment at this time."
Unless the IRS hasn't started reviewing 2018 returns, there is no reason they couldn't determine my eligibility.
This is all we have for the "Payment Status Not Available" -https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/get-my-payment-frequently-asked-questions#paymentnot
The Get My Payment application will return "Payment Status Not Available" for several reasons, including:
- You are required to file a tax return, but:
- We haven't finished processing your 2019 return
- The application doesn't yet have your data; we’re working on adding more data to allow more people to use it.
- You don't usually file a return, and:
- You used Non-Filers: Enter Payment Info Here but we haven’t processed your entry yet
- You receive an SSA or RRB Form 1099 or SSI or VA benefits; information has not been loaded onto our systems yet for people who don’t normally file a tax return.
- You’re not eligible for a payment (see Eligibility).
We update Get My Payment data once per day, overnight so there is no need to check more often. If you are eligible for a payment and have provided your information either through a recent tax return or the Non-Filers: Enter Payment Info Here application, please check back for updates.

Can Turbo Tax add prior year's bank account to 2018 return?
There is no where to enter a bank routing and account number on a federal amended tax return, Form 1040X.
If you are not receiving a federal tax refund or do not have federal taxes owed, a bank routing and account number cannot be entered on a federal tax return per IRS rules.
You can change your bank account information on the IRS portal - https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/get-my-payment
