I sold rental property and purchased another home for rental. How to separate expenses for each property?

You need to segregate the expenses for both properties and enter them separately in TurboTax. You will first edit the rental property that you sold and add the expenses and rental income for that property, along with the sale numbers.

 

Then you'll enter a new rental property and add the income and expenses associated with it.
