Question

How do I install and activate my 2018 version of TurboTax as it says there is no server to activate my older software. The 1-888 number is no longer valid.

I have my CD and product code, but no server to validate the product code. The online turbotax.intuit only allows 16 character product codes and mine is longer than that.

    Intuit Canada transitioned its activation systems around that time. We don't have a phone activation option available anymore. Are you connected to the internet? Have you tried an internet activation?

     

    Uninstall the program and try to install it using this link: https://intuitglobal.intuit.com/downloads/CanadaTax/2018/dls/TurboTax_2018.exe

     

    If the issue persists, I suggest you get in touch with our product support. If you bought it directly from Intuit, we might be able to help because we should have proof of purchase on file. You need to show proof of purchase, which is a receipt, if you bought something in a store.

     

    Either way, I suggest contacting our phone support so they can assist you.

    The activation software gives me an error when I enter the installation key and computer key.
