Re. VA taxes, long-term health premiums, Part 18, Section D, of 2017 Schedule CR/CG 0 -- Part dealing with "Credit for Purchase of Long-Term Care Insurance"; section D of Part 18 asks for "Carryover credit from prior years (in our case three and a third months of 2012, and all of 2013); we never listed this as a credit in 2012 or 2013, but I would presume I could list something here. Husband premiums for those 16 months were $3765 and for wife was $3519. Total carryover I listed (actually represented the premiums we paid) was $7284. I am now worried that perhaps this is not the way to compute the carryover, that is, listing the total premiums we paid. What should I put as carryover if these are the premiums we paid and for which we had not received prior credits?
