Using 529 and Deducing Business Expenses



If I am working while taking courses to get a master's degree to improve my skills for my current job, I understand that I can deduct these expenses as job-related expenses. 


Separately, I also understand that if I have a 529 savings account, I could also withdraw money from there. 


I also understand there is no double dipping for taxes. In that case, if I have $10,000 of tuition, would it be okay to withdraw $5,000 from the 529 and then claim the rest of the $5,000 as job-related expenses?
