Turbo Tax is holding my refund

How does Turbo Tax have the authority to hold onto a refund when the IRS has accepted and sent refund?  This should be illegal.  Also, why wasn't the consumer told that if you have the turbo tax fee taken out of your refund, that they will hold onto that refund, going on now  30 days?  Will absolutely NEVER use turbo tax again and will also make sure no one I know will ever use turbo tax.  Turbo Tax I is not a government authority and should not be allowed to hang onto your refund in any way!

I absolutely agree. I also used the free edition so maybe that's why mine has now taken 40 business days. Did they say how long yours would be held?
