Let's Confirm Your Taxable State Wages (lived in NJ then moved to NY where I work)

Moved from NJ to NY - have worked in NY for the full duration of both living situations. HELP! Which box do I check "remove these wages on"?

Your federal wages on this W-2 are $XXX

Lists NJ as about a fourth of $XXX

And then lists the NY as the full $XXX amount

Possibly none of them. Did you live in NJ for about a fourth of the year?

You worked in NY for the full year, so your income is taxable for the entire year there.

During the time you lived in NJ, your NY income was taxable by NJ as well (though they should allow a credit for tax paid to NY).

Yes, lived in NJ for about a quarter of the year. So for the NJ state return where it says check "remove these wages"  for each state wage line that is a duplicate what do I remove?
