EITC

If my husband works but I don't & we file jointly will be still qualify for the eitc? I know one of the deciding factors is do you have earned income... since I havent worked this year will we still qualify?

EITC

EITC is based on your Filing Status, earned income, adjusted gross income, investment income and number of dependents.  When filing as Married Filing Jointly, the joint income is used.  So you personally do not need to have any earned income and can still be eligible for EITC.
