Question

Will it matter if I had a 2nd job and quit? Would it matter that I only had one known employer? And if not would I be able to use the w2 I got from that 2nd job here?

The W2 for my other job (Fuyao) that I quit just came in but I never added them to my employer list so can I still do my taxes here with them?

You can enter multiple W-2's in TurboTax. If you didn't receive a W-2 from an employer in 2023, you need to contact that employer and request the form. If you already submitted your tax return and did not enter one of your W-2's you need to prepare an amended tax return to add it. You will see an option for that on your home page under Your Tax Return and Documents once you log into your TurboTax program. The amend return option may not be available yet for 2023 returns in TurboTax.

You must report all your income.  If you have not filed yet, add the second W-2 in the income section.  If it is not available for direct download (only some employers partner with Turbotax to offer this), then type it in manually.

If you already filed, you will need to amend your return to add this income.  You might owe additional tax or you might be due an additional refund.   Wait for your first claimed refund to be paid.  Amended returns may be filed starting in March.
