Question

Where to input dental insurance premiums/SE Health ins. deduction? Have a 1095-A, but TT is not allowing me to adjust the SE Health Insurance.

SE Health Ins. Deduction is Line 17 on the Adjustments to Income section of 1040. My medical expenses are not 7.5% total and the Premium expense should not go on my Schedule C. So how do I navigate the system once my 1095-A was input blocking me form entering insurance premiums?

It sounds like the 1095-A Premiums are on line 17 of Schedule 1 where they belong.  If so, and you just need to enter your Dental premiums, you will do this in the Business income expense section under Other Common Business Expenses.

This will add the amount to whatever number is currently showing on line 17 of your Schedule 1.
