When talking about a spouse on ones info is it the other person

when filling out the profile part of the spouse they are asking under the spouse portion is my spouse  a member or former member of the Us armed military is that about me or them

It's about them. Each person has their own questions that  need to be answered individually.

The spouse would be the person who is not the first taxpayer listed on the return.
