Question

When it conducts its review, it identifies one area that needs to fix. My entry is correct, but it will not let me e-file. Is there any way to get past this barrier?

the issue is: Check This Entry Form PIT-X: Unreimbursed and uncompensated medical care expenses should have a value greater than zero if you are taking a medical care expense deduction or your deduction will be denied. I'm not taking a medical care expense deduction, it should be 0 and it's not accepting that.

Can you leave it BLANK?  You normally don't enter a 0 anywhere.

No, it keeps putting in the 0 for me.
And I cannot change the 0's already prefilled on the form.

To try to clear your error, go back through your state interview and make sure the box on the screen, Medical Expenses, is blank. Do not enter a zero on this screen. Entering a zero on this screen may be causing the review error.
