When I am doing my CA state tax, it only shows my one daughter and does not give me the option to add my second child. Am I only able to add one child?

Aren’t you claiming the second child on your federal return? Go to My Info to add another dependent.

Yes, they are both listed in my federal but only one is listed in my state.

In the California interview, there is perhaps a confusing screen. It asks "Do you have a dependent you didn't claim on your federal return?" Did you answer this question Yes or No?

Normally, you will not need to enter anything (other than NO) here, and your two dependents will be carried to the state.
