WHAT TURBO TAX SHOULD I USE

I have 2 w-2 type jobs and I have 1 1099-nec type job. I teach a class at a private school so I think I am a

sole proprietor. Can I use Turbo Tax Deluxe or do I have to use Turbo Tax bussiness.

You have self-employment income for which you will pay self-employment tax for Social Security and Medicare, so you will need to use online Premium software or any version of the desktop software download so that you can prepare a Schedule C for your business expenses. You can enter your W-2 income in any version of the software.

You cannot use TurboTax Business. TurboTax Business is for partnerships, S corporations, trusts, and estates, not for a sole proprietor. You cannot use TurboTax Business for your personal Form 1040 tax return. TurboTax Business is not the same as TurboTax Home & Business.
