What do i need to do to retrieve 2020s return? turbo tax won't let me do it without starting this years return

You need to enter enough personal information for a 2022 return to get the side menu to open up and give you access to the past year returns.

Correct...unfortunately you may have to go thru a bunch of 2022 startup pages before the "Tax Home" selections shows up in the left window to click on...then you can scroll down to the prior years to get a copy.

But Please....save yourself the stress and save a PDF copy, Every Year, right after your tax files have been accepted. Print a copy too, to save in a tax folder with all yoru other tax forms.
