If you do not have a social security number to enter for her, then you will need to print and mail your return with a statement that includes her name, and as much info as you have. You will not be able to e-file without her SSN. The IRS requires this so they can match your returns as you both must either itemize or take the standard deduction.  The SSN requirement applies even if the other person does not file a return.
