The irs had me verify my identity, I did the video call and the paperwork after…now what? It’s been three weeks and my refund still hasn’t been accepted

Only the IRS is in control. It can take up to nine weeks after verifying identity to get your refund; it could be sooner if you are lucky. Watch for information on the IRS refund site. TurboTax gets no information from the IRS after you file your tax return.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 35a of your 2025 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:
